Hi I recently purchased this game from TotalGaming.Net . When I tried to run it I recieved this error.

Cellblock Squadrons caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module ntdll.dll at 001b:7c9111cd.

Exception handler called in main thread.
Error occurred at 22th October, 2005 08:23:20.
C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\Cellblock Squadrons\Cellblock Squadrons.exe, run by Unknown.
Operating system: Windows XP (5.1.2600).
1 processor(s), type 586.
21% memory in use.
1024 MBytes physical memory.
807 MBytes physical memory free.
2463 MBytes paging file.
2322 MBytes paging file free.
2048 MBytes user address space.
1976 MBytes user address space free.
Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.

Any help on how to get the game to run would be appreciated.

Inside your Cellblock Squadrons directory you should find an error.log and run.log files. Could you email them both to support@superfurious.com, and I'll see if I can work out what caused the error.

It seems to be crashing somewhere during audio initialisation. You could try to solve the problem by upgrading you Nvidia drivers, but if you would like a quick fix you could try the following:

- In the Cellblock Squadrons directory, rename OpenAL32.dll to something else ('OpenAL32.dll.bak', for example).
- Rename wrap_oal.dll to OpenAL32.dll

This will bypass searching for any optimized Nvidia audio drivers, and only make the default DirectSound3D available.
