|
|
Does the enemy AI skew targeting to the more powerful ships? I'm on the final mission to clear my debt (sadists!) and it seems like I'm dying much faster with the "special" ships than I do with the others. In particular, the Palteron seems to get blown out of the sky particularly fast.
Also, there has to be something wrong with the star rating or the game in respect to the armor. It's rated at five stars but it cannot even take 10 hits with a plasma seeker orb (?) and its dead. The Persuader at four stars can take many more. |

Sorry for the late reply...
I'll have a look into the Palteron. There's no special targeting bias against the advanced fighters... it's all in your imagination _________________ -Reactor

"...it's all in your imagination "
ROFL... I'm grasping at straws here on this last mission. It's proving mostly impossible... |

I had it once, 8 friendlies left and essentially nothing left on the bar. I got smoked by a beam and also had nothing left so I was boosting away and zigged away from a plasma seeker right into... wait for it... wait for it....
...one of my own guys.
Much swearing ensued. |

*laughs*
Now THAT is funny! Seriously though... have you ever played a game like Wing Commander, where you get told off for attacking your own wingmen who collide with you? Well, now you can be thankful you're flying with crims in Cellsquads, and can do to them whatever you want _________________ -Reactor

Yeah, that was annoying.
Was I right about the Palteron? |

FINALLY! FINISHED! THE! GAME!
First beam wave took out 15 of my guys. I flew clean, never crashing into the ship. I had zero armor left when I boosted away and had 5 crim shipmates left. I sat out there and long-range bombarded for what seemed like 20 minutes, staying just close enough to draw some inaccurate fire.
Then... B-O-O-O-M !!!!
Whew... |

I'm glad to hear you finally won!
You're right about the star rating on the Palteron... it will need a small adjustment. _________________ -Reactor

"Finally" being the operative word. lol.
I vote for upping the shield strength instead of adjusting the stars downward . |
